During the Day's senior year of undergrad at the University of Miami, they decided to study abroad in Tokyo Japan for twelve months before pursuing their career in the arts.
This year spent in Japan made a huge impact on the artist as a person and as a young adult emerging into the art world and gaining a better understanding of themself and their artwork.
Other than the art below, Day also created a watercolor based self portrait series called Introversion (go to The Introversion Series within the Art Series page to view)
