While studying abroad for 12 months in Tokyo, Japan for their senior year of undergraduate studies, Day created a four part watercolor based self portrait series illustrating the various activites they enjoyed during their more introverted moments of enjoying solitude within Tokyo's metropolis.
This series explores Day's connection to their ambivertedness (when someone is equally half an introvert and half an extrovert) and highlights how Tokyo was able to help them build a deeper connection with their introverted side despite Tokyo being one of the most crowded cities in the world.
