Church Series

When attending service at church, Day often feels most grounded and close to God in worship through the process of creating. On Sunday services while others may be worshipping through dance, song, or physical movement, Day can be found with her sketchbook, painting and drawing throughout each service.

Day typically begins her process of drawing during the first 10-20 minutes of worship, and then proceeds to add details once the speaker begins their lesson. She is never aware of what she is in the process of drawing at the beginning or during the process of creating, and continues to add any colors or marks that feel 'right' to add until the image is eventually revealed to her as she is spiritually guided.

After service, Day often discusses her artwork with prophets of the church to help her dicipher God's messages within the drawings. They are often able to relate the drawings back to a lesson that was revealed during service earlier that day.
